Dr. Hannes received her doctorate in psychology from George Washington University, with a concentration in assessment and adolescent and adult psychotherapy. She completed her internship at Woodburn Center for Community Mental Health with rotations in forensic evaluation, emergency services, and individual and group psychotherapy. Dr. Hannes earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University.
Before starting her own practice, she was a partner at The Wake Kendall Group where she worked for seven years. In her practice, Dr. Hannes provides individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. She also offers parent consultation. Dr. Hannes performs neuropsychological and psychological assessments on individuals of all ages. She provides assessment services to the middle school of Sidwell Friends School and previously did so at Holy Trinity for seven years.
