The process of writing a book becomes very solitary, with many late nights and early mornings working alone.
Having spent the pandemic pouring my years of experience into a book, I can't tell you how exciting it is to imagine it in people's hands, let alone actually making a positive impact on their lives.
Here's something for all the new and expecting parents: a chance to win a brand new 180 Reversible Stroller from Ergobaby.
As the name suggests, the 180 switches easily between baby facing the world and baby facing you.

One of the more enjoyable topics of 2020 has been "silver linings."
In what unexpected ways are you benefitting from the life changes and disruptions of social distancing?
Not a rhetorical question.
Drop it in the comments.
Personally, I am grateful for being able to work from home.
I can hug my family between sessions, "cowork" with my first- and third-graders while I'm doing admin work, avoid traffic, and start dinner in the Instant Pot on my lunch break.
As we head into the holiday season, I encourage all of you to take full advantage of the 2020 excuse to "do less."

My San Diego psychotherapy practice has been busy through the summer and the start of the school year.
I've moved to electronic charting, which means everything is paperless.
Now, when new clients start, we don't have to waste any trees, and they can easily complete questionnaires on a smart phone.
In addition, I've also expanded to a larger office.
Fortunately, I'm in the same building on the corner of Gennesee and Balboa, same floor even, just around the corner.
If you have Cigna for behavioral health insurance, it means that I can now bill Cigna directly for therapy sessions and you only need to pay the copay at the time of service.
