Services
Energy psychology (EP) is a collection of mind-body approaches for understanding and improving human functioning.
EP focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and known bioenergy systems (such as meridians, chakras, and the biofield).
Dr. Olson incorporates working with natural energetic components into the psychological treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, pain, stress, phobias, and self-sabotaging behaviors.
Within the field, results from EP as a method of treatment have been shown to be enduring and relatively rapid.
Heightened sensitivity is an innate trait, and it is estimated that Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) make up approximately 15-20% of the population.
The brains of HSPs work differently than the rest of the population, in that HSPs are extra sensitive to their environment and those around them.
This heightened sensitivity can easily lead to a feeling of overwhelm, which can manifest in feeling constantly exhausted and overly stimulated.
HSPs often experience anxiety, depression, and a sense of feeling "different" and misunderstood.
