Proven effective at treating PTSD, Depression, Grief, Phobias, Anxiety, and Addiction, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, often referred to as ART, is a form of psychotherapy with roots in existing evidence-based therapies but shown to achieve benefits much more rapidly; usually within 1-5 sessions. ART works directly to reprogram the way in which distressing images and memories are stored in the brain so that they no longer trigger strong physical and emotional reactions.
The end result is that traumas and difficult life experiences will no longer trigger strong emotions or physical reactions. Importantly, clients do not even have to talk about their traumas or difficult life experiences with the therapist to achieve recovery. ACT therapy helps you accept the difficulties that come with life by using mindfulness techniques so that you live and respond in ways that are consistent with your values.
EMDR is a therapy that provides access to the parts of the brain that store traumatic memories and allows you to release them so that recovery and healing can happen.

Anxiety can stem from different roots, but regardless of why we struggle with anxiety, therapy can help.

Post-traumatic stress symptoms can result from a wide variety of difficult experiences: childhood abuse, sexual assault, military combat, toxic or violent relationships, car accidents, or surviving a natural disaster.

Do you frequently have thoughts or intrusive images of bad things you've been through or heard about?

What's important to know is that the reactions that many survivors have are normal reactions to trauma.
Maybe the world doesn't feel safe and it's hard to trust others, or even yourself.
Maybe you feel ashamed and alone, and your self-worth has taken a big hit.
Maybe you blame yourself for what happened and feel like you're now "broken" or that there's something wrong with you.
