I am a Licensed Psychological Associate with more than 30 years of clinical experience. I feel called to this profession and grateful for the opportunity to work with clients on issues of anxiety, depression and self-doubt and shame. I believe most of the problems people experience are caused by small or large traumas. It is an honor to accompany a client on their journey to revisit and heal from painful experiences.
Beyond easing discomfort, I believe that ultimate psychological healing involves finding meaning and purpose in one's life. I received an MA in Clinical Psychology from Trinity University and have four additional years of graduate training at the University of Tennessee. I have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, but have been primarily in private practice for the past 25 years.
David Stewart is a clinical psychologist with forty years of experience working with individuals, couples and groups. He enjoys working on longstanding difficulties, seeking innovative solutions based upon trust and care.

Services
Our work is grounded in ethical principles and in the theory and practice of psychology.
We have chosen to practice independently for the privacy, autonomy and simplicity that only a small practice can provide.
We are concerned about rising health-care costs and we strive to provide the services our clients want and need in a manner that is affordable, but does not sacrifice quality of care to meet the restrictions of health-care plans.
We believe that the most important aspect of psychological treatment is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client.
