Dr. DiBiasie's clinical theoretical orientation and primary practice technique is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
CBT is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving.
Its goals are to change patterns of thinking or behavior which are often the roots of a person's difficulties, and by doing so, change the way they feel.
It is used to treat a wide range of issues in a person's life, from sleeping difficulties or relationship problems, to drug and alcohol abuse, anxiety, and depression.

While working for the government, Dr. DiBiasie served as a Special Management Psychologist, and was the team leader for a specialized crisis emergency response team.
He is fully licensed and credentialed for practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

You and your child(ren) will attend the first session together in order that the clinical concerns are clarified and a full history is obtained.
Time will be provided for both private consultation of the parents and the child.
This initial session will conclude with recommendations for additional clinical services as warranted.
For adults, individuals, and couples, the initial session serves as a means of clarifying the areas of concern and jointly deciding on an approach to address these concerns.
