A native of Alexandria, MN, Dr. Darveaux received his Bachelor's degree from St. John's University - Collegeville, MN (1976) and Master's degree from Eastern Illinois University (1977). Early in his career, Dr. Darveaux worked as a school psychologist in Alexandria, MN (internship), Rosemount, MN, and Minot, ND. After five years of providing school psychology services, Dr. Darveaux returned to graduate school and earned his Ph.
D. from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, specializing in School Psychology* (1986). Additional training and experience has allowed him to expand his skills to clinical areas of practice. Dr. Darveaux is licensed to practice psychology in North Dakota (#202) and Minnesota (LP # 5232).
He has experience evaluating all major childhood/adolescent psychiatric, psychological, and learning disorders including ADHD/ADD, reactive attachment disorder, depression, anxiety, autistic spectrum disorders, and the disruptive behaviors that frequently accompany these conditions.
