Individual therapy is one-on-one talk therapy that can help people identify and overcome obstacles impeding their well-being.
People often seek out therapy after they have been trying to manage life's stressors independently for quite some time, but are now feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure of what else they can do.
The clinicians at Hawkins Psychological Service are here to help by providing individual therapy that is collaborative, empowering, and evidence-based.
We work with you to develop a treatment plan that is unique to your needs.

Telemedicine, sometimes referred to as telehealth or telemental health, is the use of interactive audio and video conferencing technology to conduct individual therapy from the comfort of your home.
Telemedicine therapy sessions are provided through an easy-to-use, secure, encrypted technology that can be used on any computer or mobile device.
Research has shown that individual therapy using telemedicine services is just as effective as in-person sessions and it increases access to care for individuals that find it difficult to make it to the office for an appointment.

Some treatments require longer appointments.
This will be discussed with Dr. Hawkins based on your need.
The length of treatment varies and depends on the severity of difficulties present.
Some clients begin to experience relief from symptoms as early as 2-3 months into treatment, whereas others require more time.
