I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults and parents faced with challenging behaviors, transitions, trauma, or PTSD. I completed my undergraduate studies at Duke University, earning a B.A in Comparative Area studies with a focus on Latin America and Southeast Asia. Following college I traveled extensively in these areas, learning more about the people and the culture.

I then spent 15 years in the Bay Area where I worked in educational travel and ethical sourcing. In 2015, I completed my doctorate in psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology. During this time, my research focused on child abuse prevention. Following graduation, I moved to Bend, Oregon and joined Downtown Psychological Services as a psychologist.

Over the past six years, I have provided treatment for families and individuals of all ages across a wide variety of settings.
I began my clinical work at the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center, where I provided crisis intervention, risk assessment and counseling for stressed parents.
I then worked with children in an elementary school in San Rafael, CA as a school therapist providing individual behavioral and play therapy as well as group therapy focused on issues such as divorce, social skill development and grief.
