Colleen Neumann Psychology
Dr. Colleen Neumann, PsyD, MSW is a licensed clinical psychologist who assists clients in gaining insight, understanding, and motivation for recovery. Colleen has specialized in the field of eating disorders for over 15 years and is enthusiastic and motivated to help clients recover from their struggles with eating disorders and body image. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions to help clients understand their thoughts, behaviors and emotions in order to make lasting changes.

Colleen also works to relieve associated depression or anxiety symptoms and help people get to know who they truly are without the eating disorder holding them back. She provides individual, group, and family therapy services to support a full recovery, and believes in the use of a multidisciplinary team of dietitians, physicians, family therapists and psychiatrists to combat the symptoms of eating disorders.

Colleen really enjoyed college, so she stayed as long as she could! She holds a BA in Psychology and an MSW in Social Work from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify and modify unhealthy and unhelpful beliefs and works with clients to live their lives more fully.
In order to provide necessary care with minimal delay, Colleen works as an out of network provider with insurance companies.
Monthly billing summaries are provided to clients who submit to insurance seeking reimbursement using their out of network benefits.
Colleen uses the Intake Assessment code 90791, and ongoing 55 minute therapy session code 90837 for individual therapy and 90847 for family therapy sessions.
Her fees are designed to be affordable to provide accessible care to those who need it and she accepts cash, check and credit card as payment methods.
