Parkview Psychological Services offers a broad range of psychological services which are provided by an experienced Iowa licensed professional psychologist and a mental health counselor. We have been serving the Sioux City metropolitan area for over 29 years. Our staff represent many areas of interest and expertise in the evaluation and treatment of adults, adolecents and families.

As a private mental health practice Parkview offers a broad range of clinical services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in a confidential setting.
Focused specialty groups are also offered as needed.
Employee Assistance Services are provided as well.
Treatment areas addressed cover a broad range of psychological problems in a generalist practice.
Public Service in the forms of seminars, workshops and public speaking is also available.

Dr. Sandberg received her Ph.
D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Dakota.
She is a licensed psychologist in Iowa and is also licensed as a Health Services Provider in Iowa.
She completed a clinical internship with a forensic psychology focus at Atascadero State Hospital in Atascadero, California.
She also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Addictive Behaviors Research Center at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Sandberg has held numerous clinical positions over the years and has worked in a wide variety of mental health settings.

Appointments are scheduled in advance so that your therapist can prepare and make the best use of your therapy time.
When you cannot attend a scheduled session, you must call no later than the end of the preceding business day (by 5:00 p.m.) to cancel.
Appointments that you miss without calling ahead to cancel or that you miss altogether are very inconvenient and costly.
Barring illness or other emergencies, appointments that you do not cancel by the preceding day will be billed to you at one half of the full fee, or $75 per hour.
