I am a board certified psychiatrist practicing in Mount Kisco, NY in Northern Westchester. I provide consultation, psychotherapy and psychopharmacology (medication management) for adults and older adolescents. I treat a wide variety of mental health conditions with particular interests in anxiety disorders, depression and other mood disorders, women's mental health and working with parents of children with special needs.
Career challenges, family crisis, relationship problems, loss of a loved one, life transitions and psychiatric or other illness can cause changes to mood, behavior and life quality that can benefit from therapy and possible medication. In the area of women's mental health, emotional issues are common involving infertility, pregnancy and postpartum, transitions to motherhood and menopause which require particular expertise.
After a comprehensive history and consultation, I will formulate a tailored treatment plan for each individual which seeks to identify the cause of the problem, alleviate symptoms and improve his/her quality of life.
