Our goal is to help our patients grow and accomplish their goals in a safe and empathic environment. Dr. Rodriguez is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a sub-speciality in child psychology. He received his Doctorate from Albizu University and completed both his clinical internship and post-doctoral residency at the Institute for Child and Family Health, Inc., in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Rodriguez has significant experience administering numerous types of psychological evaluations to children, adolescents, and adults in both English and Spanish. His clinical specialties include, but are not limited to, treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, identity and adjustment issues, interpersonal difficulties, and issues specific to young athletes.

He also has experience providing services to children diagnosed with various genetic disorders and serious medical conditions. Dr. Rodriguez utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities in his approach to therapy, and depending on your child's age, collaborates with his patients on deciding what works best for them.

The ADHD assessment will include a clinical interview, a review of relevant medical and educational records if necessary, an intellectual assessment (IQ), various tests measuring executive functioning, measures targeting mood components that impact attention and concentration, and measures identifying ADHD symptoms to be completed by parent(s) and teacher(s).
The completed psychological evaluation will include the results, diagnosis (if applicable), recommendations and appropriate accommodations (if applicable).
