I chose the name Integrated Healing Journeys because I believe we are all on healing journeys of sorts. Whether we realize it or not, every action, reaction and interaction we have affects our well-being on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. And just as there are a variety of paths we can take in life, there are also a variety of paths (healing methods) we can take to create balance and integrate ourselves physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Psychotherapy offers a safe place for you to voice your concerns and be heard without fear of being judged, abandoned, or criticized.
During the course of confidential discussion, themes and patterns that contribute to your distress may emerge.
You'll be given an opportunity to explore your feelings and perceptions and to discover what limiting beliefs or patterns might stand in your way of well-being.
Psychotherapy consists of methods that are intended to help you become aware of and reintegrate aspects of yourself that split off and lay hidden due to trauma, fear, shame, guilt, heartache and the like.

The International Network for Energy Healing (INEH) teaches a practical, systematic method of healing within the energy field.
The energy field (also known as the aura) is a matrix of vibrations - think "wireless" system - that surrounds and permeates the physical body as it vitalizes the body, emotions, mind, and spiritual aspirations of a person.
Within our energy field are seven energy centers (chakras), each of which has corresponding energy links to the nervous system, endocrine glands and internal organs.

After receiving my Ph.
D., I taught at Hope College as a Visiting Professor of Psychology, authored a supplemental text in Abnormal Psychology for Prentice-Hall, and eventually opened a private practice.
I have been involved in a variety of personal studies over the years that focused on spiritual development, meditation and energy healing - all of which have influenced my work as a therapist.
My clinical approach is soul-centered within a psychodynamic framework.
Energy Psychology and principles of Energy Medicine are the underpinnings of my work.
