I'm Dr. Susan Wainwright, a Psychiatrist in Bloomfield Hills and Traverse City, Michigan. Through my 30 years of experience, I guide children, adolescents, and adults in creating a deeper connection with themselves. My practice specializes in psychodynamic, insight oriented therapy, and psychoanalysis. It is my belief that everyone deserves to be kind, gentle, and comfortable with themselves.
Especially when going through the unpredictable hurdles life can throw at us. Using a variety of research methods, treatment options, and working closely with patients I aim to help others get the most out of life.
Many of my treatment options include a form of psychotherapy, including supportive psychotherapy, but there are some cases in which prescription medication is also used.
