River City Psychological Services is a group of psychologists, professional counselors, and social workers striving to create a safe environment where people of all ages can grow and heal. We provide mental health therapy and counseling to people who experience problems related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship stressors, and reactions to grief.
Many of our clinicians have had focused training related to providing psychotherapy services to people who struggle with addiction, as well as people who have been through traumas, including childhood abuse. We have clinicians who focus on working in the areas of life transitions, spirituality, relationships, and multicultural issues. We work with a variety of people including members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
We have clinicians who receive ongoing specific training working with transgender and gender expansive individuals. We recognize the existence of systemic racism and strive to be an Anti-Racist practice, always working towards a socially just environment.

Kristin Roberts believes that psychotherapy provides an opportunity to heal the emotional wounds that get in your way.
Through the healing relationship offered in psychotherapy, you can gain awareness of your true self which can provide an opportunity to not only survive but to also move forward and grow.
In such a psychotherapy process, you can also develop more meaningful relationships.
While we cannot change difficult past experiences, we can work together to gain insight and understanding, as well as move towards positive change.
