I once remarked to a client that our task together was to help them follow their "internal compass"; at the time, that person felt so lost about life that they doubted they had one. With patient and persistent work, they were able not only to find self-knowledge, but also to use that "compass" to guide them through effective life changes to create more joy, confidence and contentment.

In 2016 when I established a new practice, the name was inspired by the inner wisdom we all can learn to use for essential direction in our lives. Therapists at Inner Wisdom Psychotherapy know that quality service begins by creating a safe environment; one in which you can examine your experiences in the presence of a compassionate witness. Central to our approach is the ability to be present and respectful, so you are assured the services you receive are guided by your values and priorities.

Therapists at Inner Wisdom bring a wealth of professional and personal experience and knowledge to our work. We contribute to the community through careers in other settings yet choose to dedicate a portion of our professional lives to providing individual psychotherapy services to adults.
