At Connected Psychology, we have a team of therapists who work with children, teens, and adults in Cleveland and across Ohio. We are committed to helping you live a life that feels more calm and centered. Our clinicians value both the art and science of therapy-we believe that therapy should be individualized to you but rooted in empirically supported approaches to therapy and assessment.
Most of our clients are struggling with anxiety, they are feeling insecure and worried (sometimes for reasons they can't figure out) and feeling detached from those they love. But we know you don't have to stay stuck or unhappy, and you don't have to do it alone. Our mission is to work together with you to develop common sense strategies you can use to improve your life, reduce your anxiety, and increase your confidence.
Our goal is to help you feel healthier, stronger, and more connected-to yourself, to those you love, and to your own values and what you want for your life. Dr. Lisa Doane is a clinical psychologist who has been licensed to practice in the State of Ohio since 2008 (License #6430).

First things first, we want you to feel comfortable and confident in choosing our practice.
Some people have lots of questions before getting started.
Others want to get it booked and talk later.
We will answer any questions you may have, and get you scheduled if you decide you want to proceed, or.
If you are ready to book now, you can access the scheduling portal 24/7 and book an initial appointment that's most convenient for you.
When we meet for that initial appointment, we will spend a lot of time talking about you: your life, your relationships, what makes you tick, the reasons you are seeking therapy, and what you hope to get from our work together.

Many, maybe even most, of our clients have had this same doubt.
The start of therapy can feel uncomfortable, and it's even harder to do when we worry that our problems aren't serious enough to justify seeking therapy.
It's likely that this is your anxiety talking, so instead of listening to that self-doubt we ask you to push past it for now and schedule.
You might even feel some immediate relief just by scheduling, and we certainly hope you'll feel even more relief when you meet your therapist and feel a connection with them.

If you have any other insurance plan, we will be happy to help you submit claims to your insurance to take advantage of any out-of-network reimbursement you may be eligible for.

We prioritize our clients by holding time and space available for each person we see.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you provide your clinician with 24 hours notice of the change so that time can be made available to another client who is in need of an appointment that week.
