Beginning therapy takes a lot of courage. Getting the most out of it takes openness and a compassionate, attentive therapist in whom you feel comfortable confiding. I'm a psychotherapist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders and believes passionately in size acceptance.
My practice and perspective is built on more than 20 years of clinical experience in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings, where I've focused on helping adults and adolescents with eating disorders and their families find balance and fulfillment in their lives.I also work with adults and adolescents with anxiety and/or depression; mothers coping with post-partum or child raising issues; and individuals seeking to improve relationships with others or themselves.
I look forward to working with you and partnering on your journey to recovery. I am not accepting new patients at this time. I earned a BA with distinction in psychology from Boston University and a Master of Social Work in clinical social work at Boston College and hold a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) certification in Massachusetts.
