We assess children for a variety of academic, behavioral, developmental, and emotional concerns. Each child's unique profile of strengths and weaknesses is identified, in order to customize treatment. Ongoing collaboration with school staff ensures that academic and behavioral interventions are consistently administered between the home and school environments.

We offer a range of individual, family, and group therapy services. Our therapeutic model is based on recognizing the fundamental strengths of each child, while resolving the impact of the current stressors in a child's life. Regular communication with pediatricians, psychiatrists, or other health professionals that are assisting our clients.

Shannon Pokorski offers therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults facing various challenges that interrupt the flow of everyday life.
She places importance on a strong therapeutic relationship, based on mutual respect and trust.
Shannon's authentic style of relating to others has resulted in a natural connection with the adolescent population, which has become one of her specialty areas of treatment.
Shannon is a licensed mental health counselor, and has worked for the past three years assisting clients in finding effective coping skills when dealing with such issues as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, body image, eating disorders, traumatic stress, phobias, and grief.
