After 70 years of research, we know one thing for certain about treating OCD- ERP is the way to go.
When I started considering ERP for OCD treatment, I would have done just about anything to feel better.
Part of me felt like I had so much to lose.
The only thing I ended up losing was the grip and trap of 24/7 OCD and gained unparalleled happiness and freedom.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapy rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a family of therapies that share a core tenet that psychological problems can be understood by examining and changing the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
DBT leverages change-based CBT interventions in balance with mindfulness approaches that emphasize nonjudgmental openness to experience and radical acceptance.
Individual therapy - Clients meet weekly with an individual DBT therapist to decrease harmful behaviors, increase skill use, maintain motivation to stay in treatment, and to work towards self-identified goals in the interest of building a life worth living.

Our mission is to create a space of inspiration, support, community, and healing, rooted firmly in the idea that we have the ability to heal ourselves when we do it together.
Our aim is to provide a safe space for Black Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) to discover our own healing potential, at our own pace, in our own way.
The RTC's approach to healing is inspired by Liberation Psychology- The idea that BIPOC people have the power to critically analyze their situation and solve their own problems, without the help of non-community members.
