Dr. Dye is currently taking new clients and seeing existing clients via phone, FaceTime, Zoom, and Duo. Dr. Dye has a diverse clinical practice and treats individuals of all ages. She works both with individuals coping with the problems of daily living and with those suffering from serious mental illness. She enjoys the challenge of working with individuals who have not met with success in previous psychotherapy.
Dr. Dye individualizes her treatment approach to meet the needs of each person. She works primarily within the cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, family systems, and solution-focused models of psychotherapy. Dr. Dye is experienced in working with medications and coordinates with clients' psychiatrists or family physicians as needed.

Dr. Dye received her bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College in 1983 and completed her Ph.
D. at Duke University in 1990.
She underwent postdoctoral training in Family and Child Psychotherapy at the District of Columbia Commission on Mental Health Services in 1991.
She also has advanced training in Family Therapy, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Couples Therapy, and Transcendental Meditation (TM).

Anxiety disorders include Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Phobias.
The first part of treatment of these disorders is an anxiety assessment in which Dr. Dye and the client work together to identify sources of anxiety, symptoms of anxiety, and situations most likely to evoke anxiety.
