Family Psychology of East Cobb is the collaboration of two licensed psychologists, Danielle Levy, Psy. D. and Jennifer Hopkins-Naylor, Psy. D., who have worked very closely over the past several years at a child advocacy center. They both possess Doctorates of Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology. They share similar professional interests, values and standards.
The genuineness and integrity they possess have a long track record of translating to successes and accomplishments for their clients, co-workers, and employees. Dr. Levy and Dr. Hopkins-Naylor believe in evidence based practice and treatment. They are experienced and trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems.
They are also highly flexible and understand that even the best research sometimes doesn't fit perfectly. They consider your values, personality style, goals, and symptoms to recommend the right approach for you. They have experience with clients from many backgrounds, varying ages, ethnic/cultural groups, sexual identity, religions, socioeconomic status, and education level.
