Telehealth is a secure video platform for remote therapy. Most clients find telehealth a satisfying and effective alternative when meeting in person is unsafe. Welcome to my counseling and psychotherapy practice and thank you for stopping by, I am glad you are here. I hope you will find my website both a helpful introduction to my counseling and psychotherapy practice, as well as a useful resource for your own journey of learning, growth and transformation.

I believe in the power of our relationships to heal and transform us. I also believe that that every single one of us has something precious to share. At the same time I know that life and relationships can be painfully difficult. Some relationships can feel destructive, and sometimes you lose touch with your own inner light. Sometimes you just feel lost.

Psychotherapy and counseling are some of the many ways to access healing, growth and even transformation. Indeed, counseling and psychotherapy work best when you are also attending to other aspects of your being, such as spending time in nature, exercise, reading, music, spirituality, etc. Working with a good-fitting and competent counselor psychotherapist can be an effective way to improve your relationships, overcome blind spots and begin making changes in your life.
Services
I am a psychotherapist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in private practice in Santa Rosa, California.
I provide individual and couples counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals, families and couples who are looking to create better and more satisfying relationships and who want to feel more alive and at peace in their life.
My therapeutic approach to counseling and therapy is integrative.
What that means is that I integrate elements of a number of theoretical orientations, depending on who I am working with and what the particular client's needs are.
My office is conveniently located in downtown Santa Rosa, a block from the public library and just minutes from the US Highway 101 Downtown exits and onramps.
Exit on the Downtown Santa Rosa exit.
At end of the off ramp, at the light, turn right onto Third Street.
Continue straight for five blocks, crossing E Street.
Once you have crossed E Street, continue a little over halfway toward the next cross street, Brookwood.
My office is on the left side of the street (before Brookwood) in a light green historic building, with trees in front.
As a psychotherapist and counselor, I work with people from all walks of life who are interested in exploring ways to live a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
Life transitions such as new job, relationship, divorce, death of a loved one, and moving are some of the situations that can prompt intense or unfamiliar feelings to emerge.
Maybe you have been feeling increasingly irritable, down, empty or burnt out.
You may find yourself worrying or feeling anxious more than you used to.
These states, especially when prolonged, can deplete your vital energy and leave you longing to feel more alive, connected and at peace.
As a psychotherapist and Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, I work with couples who are looking for a safe person and a neutral place to work on their relationship concerns.
Relationships can be both delightful and difficult, and yet we cannot live without them.
In my work with you in couples counseling, I invite you into a conversation about what is underneath the issues that have been difficult for you to resolve on your own.
I help you recognize what makes things go wrong and learn how to step out of destructive patterns.
Especially for women, the answer is a resounding YES.
In my psychotherapy practice, I get a number of women clients who casually say "i think its just my hormones" without knowing exactly what that means, or how to address a potential hormonal imbalance.
Hormonal imbalance has become a catch all phrase for explaining seemingly inexplicable physical and mental symptoms that women often experience.
The truth is, it really could be that your hormones are out of balance.
Mindfulness has become a mainstream idea, practice and even prescription to deal with a number of modern day ailments - states of feeling bad, uneasy, anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, disconnected and joyless.
