Tatiana Menick, MD

My practice offers supportive and insight-oriented psychotherapy, either alone or together with medications. I specialize in the treatment of most common psychiatric conditions. As a medical doctor, I never prescribe medications until I've made a thorough and detailed assessment of the person under my care. I keep a close watch on how medications affect overall well-being.

My four-year residency in psychiatry was at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington DC, where I was privileged to be part of a program that placed equal emphasis on psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. I am Board certified in psychiatry, with a practice in Falls Church, Virginia. I am also a psychiatric consultant with the Center for Discovery Virginia, a residential treatment program for women and adolescents with eating disorders, in Alexandria, Fairfax and McLean.
