I am a board-certified psychiatrist who works with children, adolescents, families, and adults. As a psychiatrist, I have been trained as a therapist and am also a medical doctor who can prescribe medication. I have received subspecialty clinical training in treating children and adolescents as well as a research fellowship in developmental neuroscience, both at Stanford University.
I served as Chief Resident and completed both my General Psychiatry residency and medical school at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine after graduating with distinction from U.C. Berkeley. I have been honored with national awards for both my clinical care and my research. Among the most meaningful have been awards bestowed by peers for providing good clinical care including induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and the Unsung Hero Award at Stanford.
Our time and attention are our most valuable and irreplaceable resources, yet so many things can get in the way of being fully present with the people and activities that matter most.
