Linda Esposito, LCSW Psychotherapy For Adults & Teens
Linda Esposito provides mental health and consultation services to help adults, teens and families manage the challenges of anxiety, depression, divorce and co-parenting. Office is located in Old Town, Pasadena. If sleepless nights, obsessive worry and panic or anxiety attacks are causing problems in your relationships, family, work or school environments, individual therapy can help.

Learn to calm your anxious mind with coping skills to deal with stress. Few events are as toxic and traumatic as life after a high-conflict divorce, or separation. Co-parenting offers additional challenges affecting your stress levels and self-esteem. Individual therapy or co-parenting for couples can help. Discipline problems at home and school, negative peers, hormones and changes in brain chemistry often disrupt the child/parent relationship.

Learn how to restore the balance. My private practice office is located in the Playhouse District of Pasadena where I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, high-conflict relationships, co-parenting, and teen issues.
Services
I am a licensed clinical social worker, and for the past 13 years I've provided psychotherapy to help people overcome anxiety, anger management, adolescent and school problems, parenting and co-parenting, high-conflict divorce, and relationship issues.
Although helping people achieve mental wellness is my passion, my most important role is being a mom, so I'd better practice what I preach!
I believe there's never been a better time to teach our youth about mindfulness, meditation, and other techniques to promote social and emotional intelligence.
If you struggle with overwhelming thoughts of sadness, or feeling out of control, distracted and unfocused -- talking about your concerns in a quiet, safe and confidential place can help you restore self-confidence, emotional wellbeing and daily functioning.
Relationship issues are addressed to help you connect with yourself and communicate your wants and needs with others.
Feeling more calm, confident and in control can happen when you share your struggles with someone who won't say "Stop being anxious!" or "Relax.
My online course, "Co-Parenting Without Chaos: Lose the Drama, Drop Your Toxic Ex, Keep Your Kids Safe, " is available.
Whenever we lose a relationship-no matter how dysfunctional-there's a sense of mourning.
We grieve the lost hopes and dreams, and the future we'll never have with this person.
When you're in the thick of the grieving process, it seems as if you will always feel despondent, even though you know on a rational level that you won't.
Nobody dreams of getting married, only to end up in family court.
I don't believe in labels.
The teen years are tough!
Most teens just want to fit in and feel normal, and that's one of the goals we work towards in counseling.
I've been working with teens for over a decade.
My experience helping teens overcome stress and anxiety was recently featured in this CNN article.
In addition to private practice, I've worked with teens in middle and high schools (including students who have been suspended and expelled from school), kids in foster care, in group homes, and on probation.
The most stressful time for moms is middle school, according to a study published in the January issue of Developmental Psychology.
As the parent of a teen, I know how hard it can be to sell psychotherapy to your kid.
For this reason I offer parent coaching for those times and situations where therapy isn't warranted as much as gaining a few tools for your parenting game, and your sanity!
This is a flexible option, tailored to your family's needs.
Best of all, your kid stays at home (at least initially) while we work on your action plan!
