If you are here, you are probably looking for relief from emotional pain, answers about and an understanding of who you are, and solutions to the problems that cause you stress. If this is you, then the journey of self exploration through psychotherapy may be the right path for you. Your emotional difficulties are as unique to you as your personality or fingerprints.
Because of this, the most effective type of therapy is one that is tailored specifically to you, taking into account your past experience, current struggles, and personal strengths. You have within you the ability to resolve, recover, and find meaning beyond your emotional trauma, pain, and distress. But this ability can seem distant or even non-existent when you are in the throes of deep emotional pain.
Instead of withdrawing, avoiding, and numbing away your pain, psychotherapy asks you to take a different path. If this sounds like the kind of personal work that would help you, call or email today to schedule your free 30 minute consultation.

I thought I would take a brief moment to tell you a little bit about myself and the way I practice psychotherapy.
I was born and raised in New York and New Jersey respectively, where multiculturalism, music, art, and the outdoors were a large part of my life.
I knew I wanted to be a psychologist around my junior year in high school when I discovered I had a deep interest in and compassion for people, their minds, their hearts, and the human condition.
I achieved my bachelors degree in psychology from Trenton State College, now called The College of New Jersey, and then I headed west, to Fresno, California, to earn my master's and doctorate at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University.

My approach to psychotherapy is best summed up by the adage, "Give a man a fish he has food for a day, Teach a man to fish he has food for a lifetime."
My goal is always to teach you how to look within yourself and use what is within you to heal emotional wounds, find meaning and purpose, and become who you are meant to be.
I do this by providing you with a secure environment in which I join you, sometimes as a guide, sometimes as a follower, on your path to connecting with your deeper, truer self.
