The Emotional Health Center of Lancaster (EHC) was formed in 2014 by two friends with a shared passion for providing holistic and emotionally responsive psychotherapy for individuals, families and couples. Ron Vogt is a licensed psychologist who formerly directed the Recovery of Hope Program at Philhaven for 20 years. Doug Friesen is a licensed psychologist who works with children, teens, couples and older adults.
He spent 15 years as a staff psychologist at Psychological Health Affiliates. Our center now includes Stephanie Sims, Casie Fisher, Dawn Sirois, and Lyndsie Cory. All of us are committed to supporting each other and you, our clients, in creating a life sustaining, emotionally responsive, and compassionate culture for one another. The name, "Emotional Health Center" reflects an emphasis on health and wholeness.
While most people enter therapy to deal with a specific problem or conflict, symptom reduction is only part of the approach at EHC. With over 35 years of combined experience, our staff is here to provide you with the type of care you deserve.

Services
In over 20 years as a psychologist it has become clear to me that entering into therapy takes courage.
It takes courage to look at one's struggles and go near painful aspects of life.
It takes courage to make changes; in the way we see ourselves, our relationships and our future.
As a therapist, I see my role as not the agent of change, but as someone who 'walks with' the person who is courageously ready to change.
I enjoy working at changes in individuals and couples as well as families.
I feel comfortable working with the whole person, exploring aspects of not only emotional health, but physical and spiritual well being as well.
