Shellie Selove continues to provide counseling services to current clients via Zoom and other distance methods. Current clients who are fully vaccinated (two weeks past final vaccination) can discuss with Shellie whether in-person appointments would be appropriate at this time. We are taking new clients but are currently using Tele Health for new client intake appointments.

People have a natural tendency to judge the intentions and feelings of others based on what we know about ourselves.
There is nothing necessarily wrong with that.
As long as the people involved are fairly similar, it is a great shortcut.
It is so much easier than spending a lot of time trying to communicate such difficult concepts.
And, aren't all people pretty much the same anyway?
Aren't our brains and nervous systems similar?
Nathan's facebook page serves as a forum for his autism advocacy activities.
On it, you will find posts that are sometimes fun and sometimes serious.
They are always geared toward helping our fellow "autistics" develop a positive autistic self-identity.
In this video Nathan tells the bittersweet story of how he got his service dog, Sylvia, and what a difference that made.
Here is a funny video that makes a serious point.
Nathan describes some of the things people often say to him in public about his service dog.
There is a 24-hour voicemail available that timestamps messages should you be unable to reach administrative staff.
If you are having an emergency, go to your local emergency room or call the Concern Hotline at 540-667-0145.
Many of our clients submit their own insurance claims for services.
We provide the necessary receipts with all the appropriate insurance codes and, even though we are out of network, most insurance policies include out-of-network benefits.
