Along your path you may run into problems or find yourself stuck. I see the problems and challenges you face as a calling and an opportunity for growth, rather than a personal failing or pathology. My approach seeks to create an empowering context for growth that involves your whole being. I don't subscribe to any one theory or technique. Instead I draw from a number of approaches including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, self-compassion, neuroscience, and my own intuition.

If you are looking for a psychologist Denver residents, who offers a focus on personal growth and not just symptom relief, please read on. I help people experience their psychological pain and life challenges as an opportunity for growth, a calling to blossom. The pain and longings we face often feel like annoyances, roadblocks, or sometimes even torture.

But if we have to face things like angst, depression, or loss, why not get something out of it? Why not allow these experiences to be part of your unfolding?
Services
Clients interested in psychotherapy typically struggle with some kind of psychological pain like depression, anxiety, or stress.
As a therapist, I'd like to help you find more than just relief from pain.
I'd like to help you create a life that makes you happier.
Rather than just talking, we will use mindfulness exercises to look at your experience from a new angle.
My clients find that this "experiential" approach helps them gain the insight and relief they are looking for.
My style is compassionate, gentle, and forward thinking.
You are the artist of your own life and as such you can find a way to create what you truly want.
Personal transformation work covers a wide range of spiritual and personal growth goals and is focused on making some kind of shift in yourself or your life.
Growth can be difficult.
We may tell ourselves that what we really want can't be had or that it's not important enough.
We may wonder if we are being selfish.
Sometimes we feel afraid, discouraged, or overwhelmed.
But living a life in line with your true aspirations is a key to happiness.
I have nearly 20 years experience practicing mindfulness and over 10 years teaching mindfulness to individuals and groups.
Mindfulness can be practiced in many different ways and you don't need hours a day to learn it.
In fact, some practices take just a few minutes.
Mindfulness decreases depression and stress and improves concentration, and these are just a few of the benefits mindfulness offers.
If you are interested in learning more about mindfulness, I will suggest practices suited to your learning style and lifestyle.
