Wise Mind Psychological Services is a counseling, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) private practice, established in 2018. Our staff has been trained in the methodologies of Behavioral Tech, LLC, a training institute founded by the creator of DBT, Dr. Marsha Linehan. We treat anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma, in children, adolescents and adults.
We primarily use DBT, a specialized form of cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness practices to assist individuals who have difficulty managing intense emotions and the resulting impulsive behaviors. Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events.

She holds a Doctorate in Psychology from Hofstra University and has been trained extensively in evidence based treatments including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
She has completed trainings conducted by Behavioral Tech, LLC developed by Marsha Linehan, Ph.
D. including an intensive workshop on Mindfulness led by Dr. Linehan herself.
