Dr. Marrapese has over two decades of experience working in the fields of criminal justice and forensic psychology. Her background includes private investigations, maximum security prisons, the parole board, forensic psychiatric hospitals, jails and program development. Dr. Marrapese earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Psychology from Bastyr University, a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Washington School of Professional Psychology and a Doctorate from Saybrook University & Research Center.

She then returned to Seattle and completed a post doctoral fellowship at The Fremont Community Therapy Project, under the tutelage of esteemed forensic psychologist and feminist therapist, Dr. Laura Brown. Dr. Marrapese has extensive experience in psychological assessment, including forensic violence risk assessment and criminal forensic assessment.

Her therapy practice is focused on providing therapeutic services to women and members of law enforcement.

Pre-Employment evaluations are typically conducted to reduce a potential employer's liability, and to ensure prospective candidates are psychologically suited for the job.
Pre-employment evaluations are designed to ensure candidates are free from any emotional or mental conditions that may adversely impact performance.
Evaluations include psychological testing, an in-depth evaluation, a background investigation, records review and communication with collateral contacts.
We offer pre-employment evaluations for a variety of positions, including correctional officers, firefighters, EMT's, probation officers, dispatchers and public safety officer positions.
Dr. Marrapese's focus is on providing psychotherapy to women.
Treatment involves an integrated, relational focus, drawing upon the principles of feminist and psychodynamic theory.
Areas of Specialty : Women (ages 18+), depression, post traumatic-stress disorder, relationships and interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, traumatic experiences, including sexual, physical or emotional abuse and aging.
Teletherapy includes phone sessions or online/video conferencing.
