I offer evaluations and treatment to help you and your loved ones on the path to a happy healthy life. I view the neuropsychological evaluation not as the end point, but as the beginning of the treatment process. Times of emotional stress or crisis, academic or occupational difficulties, or cognitive problems associated with a medical illness can be a turning point in a person's life and not a breaking point.

After the completion of the neuropsychological evaluation and our follow-up discussion, my patients report that they feel much more knowledgeable about their own brain. This information often empowers them to make a positive change. In addition to being a neuropsychologist, I am also a clinical psychologist trained in providing psychological services to children, adolescents and adults.

This dual training provides me with the expertise to treat the "whole patient" by combining a neuropsychological evaluation with supportive psychotherapy as needed. Are there language or visual processing problems which interfere with my child's ability to perform to his or her potential in school?.
Services
Dr. Lantz has many years of experience evaluating and treating patients with a wide variety of psychological and cognitive disorders.
She completed her graduate education as a licensed clinical psychologist at Yeshiva University where she did extensive training in different therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, and family systems therapy.
She then received advanced training as a neuropsychologist at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and she subsequently completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center in neuropsychology.
A neuropsychological evaluation is a comprehensive battery of objective and standardized tests.
As a neuropsychologist, I am trained to choose from an array of tests based on your individual referral question or problem.
Because each battery is flexible based on individual needs, the evaluation can last anywhere from 3 to 10 hours, depending on the complexity of the problem/s being evaluated.
At the completion of this evaluation, you will better understand your own cognitive strengths and weakness and how they impact your functioning.
I offer evaluations and treatment to help you and your loved ones on the path to a happy healthy life.
I am currently accepting new patients and referrals from other health care providers for neuropsychological evaluations and psychotherapy.
Feel free to call me at 914.860.6608 or contact me online.
I treat school age children over the age of five, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
I utilize a combination of play therapy, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and family systems principles to work therapeutically with my patients.
