I am a licensed Psychologist and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas and Georgia. I have a Ph. D. in Counseling Psychology and have been practicing as a psychologist since 1987. Prior to that, I practiced as a Clinical Social Worker for 4 years. I also was an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
I'm happily married, have two married children, and am a very proud and enthusiastic grandfather. I enjoy diversity in my practice. As such, I offer treatment for a wide variety of disorders and problems, ranging across the age spectrum from Pre-Adolescent children through Senior Adults. I have been trained in and utilize individual therapy, group therapy, couples/marital therapy, and family therapy.
My treatment approach is generally supportive, active, and collaborative. Collaborative refers to my joining with the patient and/or patient family in a joint problem-solving process.

In conjunction with Family Guidance International, an international corporate consulting company, I provide Pre-departure Assessments(PDA) and Re-Entry Debriefings(RED) to companies doing business abroad and sending company associates to foreign countries.
