Jeff has a B.A in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy from Chapman University. He received supervised case consultation training from the Academy of Cognitive Training in New York and also received supervision under the guidance of a licensed psychoanalyst from the Psychoanalytic Study Center of Southern California.
Jeff's experience includes working with private practice clients, intensive outpatient care agencies, schools and community clinics. His treatment approach focuses on collaborating with clients to address current maladaptive/distressing thoughts, feelings and behavior in the context of their psychosocial history in order to clearly identify underlying needs and wishes.
Using this approach clients are able to understand how they manifest unresolved past issues in current relationships/life circumstances.
