Are your friends, family, or a loved one, trying to help but don't really understand what you're going through? We all face challenges and problems throughout life that, at times, may prevent us from enjoying it to its fullest. You may be experiencing despair, depression, anxiety, or doubts about yourself, your relationship, your career, or the general direction your life seems to be heading.

These feelings may be caused not only by what is happening at the moment, but also by all that has affected you over the course of your lifetime. All of these experiences, problems, and challenges have led you to me and this website. I believe that you are here for a reason. Where you're supposed to be is in a state of joy and contentment, savoring each moment of life to its fullest.

Please allow me to help you down that path. I am available five days a week, including evenings and weekends, for face-to-face psychotherapy sessions with my clients. I am the woman I am today because of Ilene. And I freely admit that Ilene was and is exactly what I need.

Within the framework of a safe and collaborative environment, I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Spiritual Psychotherapy to treat depression, anxiety, and personality disorders.
I also work extensively with issues of low self-esteem, codependency, relationship conflicts, and career challenges.
I frequently incorporate Energy psychology, including Emotional Freedom Techniques and Psychological Kinesiology, into counseling sessions for maximum effectiveness.

Whether depression is caused by a job loss, relationship break-up, stress, or a combination of these factors or other factors, no one is immune.
Anxiety disorders are treatable and can be alleviated.
They do not have to rule your life.
I will provide a safe and comfortable environment for you to share your innermost feelings, wants, and needs.
Together we will devise and map out a plan of personal recovery.
I primarily utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Spiritual Psychotherapy.
These modalities have been objectively proven to have the highest success rates in overcoming the most prevalent issues being faced by clients today.
I have extensive training and experience in treating depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and borderline personality disorder.
As a licensed therapist, I am able to receive reimbursement from most PPO & POS insurance plans.
I am not covered by HMO insurance plans.
The everyday pressures of life can often be overwhelming and can cause us to sink into a state of mind that is emotionally painful.

Major Depression: An episode of extreme sadness lasting at least two weeks or longer.
This is often triggered by a deeply upsetting event, or a culmination of several events or stressors.
Panic disorder: This is a type of anxiety disorder characterized by sudden and repeated "attacks" of intense fear accompanied by physical symptoms that may include chest pain, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and dizziness.
PTSD: Post-traumatic stress disorder can occur when a person has experienced some form of trauma.
Frequent flashbacks or nightmares can cause one to isolate themselves from, and/or avoid social contact.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder: This is a disorder characterized by chronic worry or tension, even though there may be little or nothing to provoke it.
