Over the course of my career, I have come to understand that people want to have positive, satisfying, and meaningful relationships. People want to be productive and happy. We all have the potential to create a rich and fulfilling life. I have been in practice for over thirty years. I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, children, and families.

Over the course of my career, I have come to understand that people want to have positive, satisfying and meaningful relationships and want to be productive and happy. I have developed skills that can help you reach these goals. Whether you are coming to therapy as an adult, a child, an adolescent, a parent, or a family, in your work with me, you can realize that you have the freedom to make changes within your life, and then make the decision to do so.

With support and motivation, you can make deliberate choices and live a more conscious life; you can improve your relationships, your work environment, and your self-esteem.
Services
This is key: You have the freedom to make changes in your life.
If you decide to make those changes, you can live a more conscious and meaningful life.
In our work together, you can improve your relationships, job satisfaction, and how you feel about your life and yourself.
My therapeutic style is interactive, soft spoken but direct.
In our work together, I can help you look clearly at yourself, your established patterns, what you bring to your relationships with your children, spouses, and significant others, and assist you in creating positive change.
This model provides all family members with the structure necessary to internalize and implement the skills they will learn in their work with us.
The young adult, their parents, and family grow emotionally.
They work towards reaching their full potential, both as individuals and as a family unit.
There is a growing population of older adolescents and young adults who struggle with developing and/or maintaining age-appropriate independence.
My colleague Alison Howard, PsyD., M.Ed.
Howard provides individual therapy with the young adults to build self esteem and increase life skills.
EMDR can help you live your life with courage, optimism, and self confidence.
For people who have experienced difficult life events, it restores a secure sense of wellbeing.
EMDR also integrates emotional and cognitive functioning.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful psychotherapy approach that has helped millions of people of all ages relieve many types of psychological distresses.
I provide seminars, keynotes, and trainings to groups and workplaces to help their leaders, individuals, and teams to not only survive working in this chaotic, busy world, but to thrive.
People in organizations, agencies, schools, and businesses today are continually bombarded by a stream of pressing demands, tasks, and communications.
This constant barrage blocks their momentum, causing frequent shifts in attention.
As a result, their productivity goes down, and with it, their sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
I provide presentations, workshops, and trainings to parents and teachers of preschool and elementary school-aged children.
Parent programming focuses on concepts, skills, and practical advice for parents of preschool and elementary school-aged children to help them maximize the positive impact they can have on their family.
Teacher and school staff programming, such as in-service workshops and staff consultations, helps preschool and elementary school teachers address classroom issues, difficult behavior, and classroom dynamics.
