My mother and I have never had a good relationship.
It seems that whenever I'm with her she is criticizing me and sometimes I didn't even feel like she loved me.
Working with Marnie I am beginning to understand that sometimes relationships aren't what we want them to be, and maybe never can be.
This has been very sad, but slowly I can see that I will hurt less and less over time.
