Services
My goal is to help individuals move toward better being; to grow and be healthier.
To this end, I assist individuals in improving their emotional well-being through warm, genuine, non-judgmental exploration of their experiences.
In this exploration, I work with the individual in a collaborative process to guide them to heal their core wounds and struggles.
This process not only helps improve current symptoms and distress, but also provides the individual with skills that help them navigate future challenges.

In individual psychotherapy, you and your psychologist will meet one-on-one to work on exploration and healing, to work toward better being.
Exactly what that may look like will depend on your unique needs.
At times this may include skill building of some kind, psychoeducation, guided meditation, body awareness work, or exploration of emotions and associated situations, hence our holistic approach.
While your psychologist is there to guide you, individual psychotherapy is a collaborative effort between you and your psychologist.

While commonly used synonymously, supervision and consultation services are distinctly different.
Supervision can be understood as a service provided to an individual who is still training in provision of clinical services in general or in a particular area.
During supervision, the supervisee provides the supervisor with comprehensive information regarding the client and the clinical service as it is provided, throughout the duration of supervision, and the client is aware the supervisee is being supervised and by whom.
