I offer a highly personalized, collaborative, and empathetic approach to therapy that is tailored to the individual needs and goals of my clients. I treat a broad array of client issues and concerns in my practice including: those who struggle with the debilitating remnants of traumatic experiences, sports performance and creative blocks, alcohol, drug, or other behavioral addictions, spiritual concerns, mood disorders, attachment issues, life transitions, and clients who simply wish to enhance and improve their lives.

In my experience, life challenges often include cognitive, emotional, spiritual, psychiatric, interpersonal, and societal/cultural elements which all require adequate exploration and attention if the client wishes to fully "heal" and "grow". I believe there are many different paths to achieving one's emotional, psychological, relational, and spiritual goals.

I strongly believe in the notion of "life long learning". As such, I make ongoing efforts to educate myself and my community regarding the latest empirical and clinical findings associated with substance abuse trends, prevention, and treatment - as well as findings and information associated with other areas of the field that I find interesting and germane.

Consent is not a condition of purchase.
However, at my discretion, I may offer time limited telephonic or other electronic support to current clients who are experiencing a "psychological emergency" and are not able to schedule a face to face session in my office.
In addition to the above specializations, I facilitate a psychotherapy group for Young Adults (18 to 25).
4 While they may not always agree with their fellow Group members all participants must be respectful, courteous, and supportive of their peers in the TSG and agree to abide by all of the TSG Group rules.
I am not affiliated with any insurance company or employee benefit plan.
If your insurance plan does offer partial reimbursement for "off-plan" providers, I can provide you with a monthly, detailed billing statement with the necessary information to submit to your insurance company.
As a "fee for service provider", I will do everything in my power to assist you in your efforts to receive some reimbursement from your insurance company, but I cannot receive payments directy from insurance companies or employee benefit plans.
Each new client should also print out and complete the appropriate Background Questionnaire and bring it to your first therapy session.
If you would like me to coordinate your care with another provider (e.g., your psychiatrist, primary care physician, etc.), please complete the Authorization to Exchange Clinical Information and bring it to your first therapy session.
If I have authorized that we engage in remote therapy (via phone or video platform), please download, read, and sign the Information and Consent Form for Remote Therapy and return it to me.
My educational and training experience with Object Relations, Attachment, Transpersonal, Client Centered, and Family Systems theory afford me the opportunity to help clients better understand the hidden or unconscious issues and conflicts that can underlie their presenting concerns.
My treatment approach is guided by these theories, and includes strategies and interventions associated with psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior, and family based (e.g., structural and systemic ) therapies.
