Along with its wonders, life will present all of us with difficult challenges, losses, and other sources of painful and frightening emotion. Sometimes these challenges are "everyday, " and sometimes they are "traumatic." I offer an understanding environment in which to help you with the difficulties and difficult feelings that you face.

These life-experiences may be reflected emotionally in low self-esteem, sadness, heartbreak, shock, anxiety and other painful emotions, any of which may in turn become complicated by feelings of invalidity, shame, toxicity, or guilt.
When feelings (perhaps especially painful feelings) become saturated in invalidity, shame, or guilt they are more likely to give rise to clinical depression, anxiety disorders (e.g., panic attacks), or other problems.
