We all feel stuck at times despite a sincere desire for well-being. An important first step in seeking help is to find the right fit. If you have a mindfulness practice already and want apply it in therapy, I am interested in working with you. Many of us have learned relational patterns that once helped us survive but may now inhibit our full expression of who we really are.

Once we decide to work together, we can build on your strengths and invite your true voice into dialogue. My goal is to help you realize more choice no matter what life hands you. I work with a diverse range of adults who may experience depression, anxiety, trauma, self-doubt, relationship issues, grief, or simply challenging life transitions. My approach is honest, collaborative, strength-oriented, holistic and effective.

I look forward to meeting with you.
Services
Many of my clients come in feeling like they have been merely surviving life, yet they long to experience living more fully.
Together we can explore how to meet this longing from a strengths-based approach.
Often this means adjusting outgrown relational patterns to fit present goals.
Since moving to Seattle in 2004, I worked as a pediatric and adult hospice social worker before returning to private practice.
Throughout my clinical work over the last two decades, I've been blessed to work with clients from richly varied life experiences.
The most important ingredient of effective therapy is a sense of safety.
This is something you and I will build together, allowing greater freedom and authenticity into relationship.
How we establish, maintain and deepen our trust will be the foundation upon which all of our work together will rest.
This is an exciting time to practice psychotherapy, as we are now confirming that the cultivation of mindfulness encourages neuro-plasticity, or the brain's ability to change at any age.
Self-awareness does not require any set of beliefs or prior experience, only a willingness to replace judgement with curiosity about your own direct unfolding experience.
