Specializing in the treatment of trauma/PTSD, I create a safe and supportive space to help you develop healthier behaviors, feel better, have a greater sense of purpose, instill a sense of self and develop your own unique wisdom. I guide individuals and couples to confront issues including addiction, trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, domestic violence, physical/sexual abuse, complicated grief, general feelings of being lost and confused.

I enjoy working with folks who are in 12 step programs and needing a professional to take them to the next level. I am a dynamic, seasoned, competent and relatable clinician who is eager to utilize all of my interests, trainings, experiences and modalities to meet each and every client exactly where they are in their unique process of healing, exploration and self-acceptance.

I offer therapeutic services attuned to the client to ensure the opportunity for the greatest outcomes. I believe everyone deserves a high quality of therapy no mater what the obstacle and I determined to do just that.
Services
My approach emphasizes the systematic study of the psychological forces that underlie human behavior, feelings, and emotions and how they might relate to early experience.
I am especially interested in the dynamic relations between conscious motivation and unconscious motivation.
We will look at a variety of factors including your parents, friends, school, economic class, home environment and other factors, seeking to help correct missing or ineffective parts of that system, this will have a positive impact on your well being.
I am a psychotherapist who realizes how powerful it is to work on behalf of people - hearing their stories, witnessing their resilience and participating in their growth and healing.
I became a psychotherapist after experiencing firsthand the power of a strong therapeutic relationship.
Over time, I have come to appreciate how fundamental relationships are to the way people make sense of their world and their sense of wellness.
I came to realize that only by attending to these relationships - our relationships with each other and our relationships with ourselves - can we truly grow and thrive.
Deciding to reach out for help is an act of courage, good for you!
Once you have made your first appointment, we will work together to develop goals that will be beneficial to you.
The core of psychotherapy really is about the relationship between me and you, and eventually our work will be about what happened when you were a child, your conflicts, and thought patterns about yourself and what you transfer onto me.
Keep in mind that as psychotherapy progresses, you may feel overwhelmed, angry, sad or more confused than you did at the beginning of the process.
Please contact me regarding individual therapy or couples counseling.
You may call, email or use the form on "Get in Touch".
Please provide your phone number, a brief description of what is bringing you to therapy would be appreciated along with possible times that work for you for a phone call over the next few days.
I will text you back as it is more confidential than the internet.
If you have any urgent questions, feel free to include those as well.
Whenever possible, I prefer to speak with new clients for at least 15 minutes on the phone so that they can get a sense of who I am and I can learn more about them.
People come to therapy for different reasons, but what they have in common is that they are at a point where they feel like they could really use some help.
They may feel unhappy, stressed, anxious, depressed or want help making sense of painful experiences from the recent or more distant past.
Some people come because friends or family have encouraged them to come and they are taking that suggestion to heart.
All are perfectly valid reasons to consult with a psychotherapist.
The focus of psychotherapy is always to help you feel differently, but it can help in a few different ways.
