Sitting at the heart of every divorce, every mediation, every need for therapy, are people - the individual family members. People who need understanding, resolution of conflict, and a path toward accepting unforeseen circumstances.

D, LP focuses her practice on the unique needs of the individuals and families she works with. Even in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), where conflicts take center stage, Dr. Anderson's solution-focused approach helps to ensure that both parents and children receive individualized care that is designed to help each family member move forward personally and collectively.

Dr. Anderson talks with new clients to explain the benefits of ADR processes, coaching, reunification therapy, ADHD, and learning disorder evaluations and psychotherapy services to determine which service will best address their needs.
Services
Individual, marriage and family issues, and neuropsychological assessments for learning disorders and ADHD took center stage throughout Dr. Anderson's training, and coursework.
She offers her expertise to adults, teens, families, and couples.
Assessments are an important service offered by Anderson Psychological Services, LLC.
Dr. Anderson advocates for her clients to ensure that they are given compassionate understanding of their challenges, and is a strong advocate for clients who are entitled to receive academic supports given their diagnoses.
Anderson Psychological Services, LLC provides alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services for families.
ADR services offered include child inclusive mediation (CIM), parenting consulting (PC), reunification therapy, and social early neutral evaluations (SENE).
In addition, Dr. Anderson offers parenting coaching to provide support during a separation or divorce, and to address co-parenting concerns.
More comprehensive guidance is available to parents who are interested in planning and coordinating important steps toward supporting the children during a divorce.
Social Early Neutral Evaluation (SENE) is an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process that occurs early during the course of divorce or paternity cases.
SENE is an evaluative process, led by a male/female team with the goal of resolving custody and parenting time issues.
The benefits of SENE include the potential for quicker resolution to custody and parenting time issues and cost savings, compared to custody evaluations or trial.
The evaluators will consider information provided by each parent about their children, proposals for shared parenting time, as well as concerns and important considerations for how they will support the children as they move between households.
When parents agree to address parenting disputes with the assistance of a Parenting Consultant (PC), the PC is court appointed to this alternative dispute resolution (ADR) process.
The PC works with parents in an effort to reduce the need for court involvement.
The PC role often involves identifying the need for support from additional professionals to assist with decreasing conflict between the parents, and provide more support as the children move between homes.
Examples of such support includes coaches to address co-parenting challenges, or mental health professionals for the parents and/or children to provide therapeutic support for particular concerns.
Reunification therapy (also referred to as Parent-Child Contact Therapy) can be viewed as a "hybrid family therapy" with the goal of addressing and correcting a break in a given relationship between a parent and child.
Given the dynamic process and the involvement of multiple family members, one person is not identified as the client.
Instead, the family is "the client."
Reunification therapy requires a court order to identify the terms and participation of family members.
This step is purposeful, and results in greater structure, consistency, and participation by the family, all of which is needed to increase the likelihood of positive change for the family.
