Services
Each client that comes for therapy requires an individualized approach to assessment and treatment.
Children often express themselves differently than adults.
Many children respond to play and art based interventions that help them work through challenging emotional concerns.
We are trained in play therapy.
Therapists work closely with parents/guardians to teach them skills to use at home with their children.
Adolescents' primary developmental goals often center around identity.
They may be constantly challenging, rebelling, and experimenting in an attempt to figure out "who am I?" Therapy is often a very helpful place where adolescents can explore different parts of their identity and begin thinking about what they want their lives as adults to look like.
