SRI is currently requiring all therapy sessions to be held via telehealth (video/phone therapy). We hope to resume in-person therapy soon. Please contact your therapist directly to schedule a telehealth appointment, or contact our main office to schedule a new patient appointment. We are strongly committed to maintaining services in order to not interrupt patient care throughout this crisis.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we navigate this unexpected new reality and hope for a return to normal soon. SRI PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES is an established private practice, featuring an experienced, caring staff of professionals. Our multi-disciplinary staff includes licensed psychologists, certified school psychologists, licensed social workers, professional counselors and psychiatric services.

Our goal, quite simply, is to help.
Services
SRI offers a full range of psychological services.
The primary focus of our work centers on psychotherapy and counseling.
SRI therapists are trained and experienced in working with preschool children, school age children, teens, adults, couples and families.
When needed to support a client's progress with an SRI therapist, psychiatric evaluation and medication management services are also available.
SRI's certified school psychologists provide psycho-educational evaluations of children and adolescents when this service is required.
What is psychotherapy?
Simply put, psychotherapy consists of talking to a highly trained professional about things that are bothering you or which are interfering in some way with your life.
2. Who should consider psychotherapy?
If you have thoughts, feelings and/or behaviors that are bothering you and which have not improved, a professional should be consulted.
Research strongly suggests that left untreated, problems such as anxiety and depression tend to worsen.
Early treatment, like in most things, tends to be the most effective.
You may download them at your convenience and send back to the office.
Please read each form carefully and sign accordingly.
You may not return these forms through this website via email, as email is not HIPAA compliant.
Thank you for your continued understanding during this transitory time.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the main office at (215) 885-3337 or contact the therapist directly with whom you are scheduled to see for an intake appointment.
SRI administrative staff are very familiar with dealing with insurance questions and are available to speak with you and/or with your insurance company to help clarify exactly what your insurance coverage provides.
Depending on your coverage, you may be responsible for payment of a deductible and/or a copayment.
Copayments are always due at the time of service.
Payment can be made by check, cash or by credit/debit card.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and health saving account cards.
Even when SRI is "out of network" we can help by contacting your insurance plan to obtain information about what is covered and your eligibility for receiving reimbursements for payments you have made.
SRI's main focus is psychotherapy and counseling.
Research has shown that medication can be effective for many problems, but medication alone is rarely "the answer."
In fact, there is evidence that therapy is just as effective as medication for many problems and that therapy may be superior in being able to prevent relapses after the treatment is completed.
We start with an initial intake session.
The first step is a comprehensive initial interview.
Our therapists will want to gather extensive information about the problem and to begin the process of forming a professional, caring relationship with you.
