The nature of my work as a psychotherapist is to offer a safe and secure environment in which a person can express themselves. Together we can build the relationship as client and therapist in a comfortable space, forming healthier ways to cope with challenges, without limits or judgment. I work from the relational approach in psychodynamic-psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
Visualization, relaxation, setting goals, becoming more aware, self-encouragement, focus, control, and confidence are all elements that relate to psychology and are connected to personal growth. I earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Prairie View A&M University and a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles.
I received my Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology Los Angeles. I am a third year clinical candidate currently in training at the New Center of Psychoanalysis Los Angeles to become a psychoanalyst. I have been working with patients for 8 years.
