We specialize in individual and couples therapy from a contemporary relational perspective, offering a strength-based approach that is focused on the development of self-awareness, integration, connection, and creativity. We work with people who come to us with a variety of concerns: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, difficulty finding love or fulfilling work, lack of self-confidence, a sense of meaninglessness, questions about adjustment to life transitions, stress, and the like.

We work closely with you to focus meaningful, practical attention on the patterns of feeling, thinking, behaving, and relating that hamper your sense of satisfaction and pleasure in life. Our treatment center provides affordable psychotherapy to the downtown Chicago community. We are an out-of-network provider for most major PPO plans, and our sliding scale makes us competitive with in-network provider rates.

We are in-network for BCBS PPO. Our sliding-fee scale makes high-quality psychotherapy and counseling available to people of all income levels.
Services
People come to individual therapy for help with a wide range of emotional challenges.
Common issues include difficulties forming lasting relationships, anxiety, isolation or emotional emptiness, grief, trauma, depression, communication problems, anger, dissatisfaction in work, work-life balance, inhibition or lack of motivation, and low self-esteem.
Your therapist will work with you to create a safe and supportive environment in which to explore the meanings of your experience and to develop your capacity for mastery of your challenges.
We are dedicated to the enrichment of our clients' emotional lives and to their development as active, thriving members of the community.
We believe that freeing people from their internal constraints-and helping them develop the skills to improve their lives-is at the center of helping them find greater passion, conviction, and fulfillment.
Our therapists work from a contemporary psychodynamic perspective, employing the context of the therapeutic relationship to explore the conscious and unconscious ways a person creates meaning, maintains his or her sense of self, and relates to others and to the world.
