I am Board certified in Psychiatry and certified (by the American Psychoanalytic Association) in Psychoanalysis. My approach in therapy is to first make an accurate diagnosis of the problem and then utilize my skills in helping you past your difficulties.

In addition to using medication when indicated, I listen to your story and then strive to find the hidden causes for your problems, and then unlock them so that they will not continue to interfere with your life. Unlike most psychiatrists in Dallas, I provide psychotherapy in addition to being able to prescribe medication. Therefore, you would not need to have both a counselor and a psychiatrist with separate expenses for each.

I have expertise in treating anxiety, depression and personality disorders, working with individuals, teenagers and couples. I also have extensive experience in treating relationship issues, difficulty in getting along with others, phobias, compulsive behavior, social anxiety, self-defeating behavior, sexual dysfunction, and ADD.
